Descripition
Grinding media, the objects used to refine material and reduce particle size, are available in a wide range of shapes, sizes and materials to meet an equally wide range of grinding and milling needs. Highest density material available for milling applications. Available as small pellets (not spherical), satellites (balls with bands) and round balls. Cost, medium to high, varies with roundness and size. Highly polished tungsten carbide ball mill grinding media balls, highly wear-resistant and resistant to acid and alkali. High hardness, can meet the vast majority of metal powder crushing and refining. They are extensively applied to in the fields of Metallurgy, Ceramics, Electronics, Light Industry, Paint, Medicine, Geology, Chemical Engineering and so on.
working principle
Grinding cylpebs and balls are mainly used in the ball mill for grinding. Through the strikes of such mediums, the material can be completely crushed and ground from large size into required fineness, the grinding process is more efficient and the cost will be lower. The grinding balls in the grinding jars are subjected to superimposed rotational movements, the so-called Coriolis forces. The difference in speeds between the balls and grinding jars produces an interaction between frictional and impact forces, which releases high dynamic energies.
The interplay between these forces produces the high and very effective degree of size reduction of the planetary ball millSubject to technical modifications and errors.
